* I started in the photography business in Toronto, Canada in 1961 and have
been at it ever since. Today it is no longer a business but a passion. Over
the years I have had work exhibited in several one man and group shows in
Canada and the U.S.A. and published in various publications.
* I have received a bursary from the Canada Council and project grants from
the still photo division of The National Film Board of Canada; several of
my prints are in their permanent collection as well as in private collections
in Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe.
* I have been an instructor of photography at Sheridan College in Ontario
and have conducted portrait and figure workshops in Toronto and Vancouver.
* Nude figure photography has been a constant theme in my work and I continue
to be fascinated with the challenge inherent in dealing with this subject
and the vagaries and whims of my models. More recently I have taken to isolating
little segments of beauty in that horrible blight which we know as graffiti.
* I am living and photographing in Vancouver, B.C., an increasingly ugly city
existing in one of the most beautiful settings in the country. But it is far
from a boring city and is home to wonderful models and much more graffiti
than anyone needs or wants.
* I accept portrait, promotional and publicity assignments and hire figure
models on a pay or a trade for work basis.
